Father's Day and First Swim

What a special father's day this year! Ed is such a great dad! He has been so helpful with taking care of Jack: getting up for midnight feedings, putting Jack to sleep at night, and always wanting to hold him and take care of him after a long day at work. It just shows me how much he loves Jack!! Jack is a lucky guy!

To celebrate father's day, we went over my uncle's house to hang with the family, and Jack was able to have his first swim with his daddy! He's a bit little still, but we thought it would be fun to see how he reacted to the water. Not sure that he quite knew what to think about it!

He did look like a cool dude in his sunglasses!

All Smiles

At about 5 weeks old, Jack gave us one of the most fun moments we've had so far as parents, a huge smile! His first "real" smile was in his favorite spot, on his changing table under his mobile. Thankfully, Ed and I were both there to see it. He loves this mobile and almost every time we change him, he's all smiles and giggles. It's great. I took some video of him enjoying his favorite spot. He always gets excited and then starts dancing to the music. It's so fun!

Ever since 5-6 weeks, Jack has so many fun moments where he is happy and smiling. He loves when Ed moves his hands, giving him lots of high fives. He also loves when we talk to him and smile at him. Here are some of the best smiles we've been able to capture on camera:
