Phase 3: Mud and Paint, Finally!!!

We have been so blessed to have so many people to help us around here! Our friend Tommy came over and fixed up our walls for us; they look so nice now! The difference is amazing. Plus, Ed learned how to mud drywall which may come in handy in the future! Tommy also lent us the scaffolding so that we could reach everything. This turned out to be super helpful, especially for painting that high ceiling!


John came over and helped Ed paint the first coat, which was so helpful since he can cut in perfectly. That vaulted ceiling is no joke!


My parents helped with the second coat. And I had to have someone snap a picture of ME cutting in to prove that I helped too! And don't worry, it's low VOC paint, so it's safe for me and the baby! We LOVE the color. It turned out better than we expected!


Now, time for furniture!
